Reviews
Situated in the lovely town of Arrens-Marsous, the office de tourisme will help you to get the most from your journey through the Pyrenees mountains that tower steeply close by.
The village itself has many charming and interesting features, with some great shops too. We visited the delicatessen for local produce and also enjoyed the ice creams they sell.
We also recommend that you drive the Col d'Aubisque for stunning unforgettable views of the mountains. Then perhaps visit the Petit Train d'Artouste, a fabulous train ride that clings to the side of the mountains and ends up at the Lac d'Artouste.
Beau
More than a tourist office, great exhibition on life in this valley. Very friendly welcome with explanations. If you want to visit the chapel next to the old sanatorium you have to ask the union, very beautiful chapel which is worth stopping there. Relaxing and lively valley.
Great!!!!
Very warm welcome. Good advice. Hikes organized by the tourist office. Possibility of reserving tickets for the Pic du Midi.
Welcome and visit the place and the exhibition and ask for local walks
Quite interesting exhibition. Very warm welcome, and good information.
But above all, to do by reserving on site or by telephone, the outing meeting with the marmots. A beautiful, long 3-hour walk in the mountains, with a super friendly guide who shows us the environment, the plants, the trails and the surrounding mountains. Without forgetting the marmots which, even if they are not visible too much, are visible from afar and through my telescope brought by the guide.
In short, a must-do for young and old.
We were very well received
The two young men who are there are very good advisors and know the region well
